I was talking to the admin for hhe (hiphop effect), he wants to do site battles and asked me if any sites would want too, if enough guys on here are down for it, i can make a site battle happen, might be to early to do a site battle, but once we get enough active members we should, it can also bring other members to join, if u host the battle on this site

good idea.. for sure.. u shuld talk to him about also affiliations with the site..
..and i think sumthing like.. a tournys n shit could happen between sites aswell.. the title could be ..
"Home Grown Effect Champion".. kinda lik a inter-site tourny.. along wit site battle.. i dunno..
but a site battle i would be down for.. in text.. thats about it.. i dnt think i site can really float any audio.. n shit lik that.. but it could all be talked out n shit...

assuming everyones down for it we could do like 3 text battles, 1 audio battle, and 1 gfx battle


....just a thought...

yah... like our roster is limited at the moment.. not like we hav that many poeple.. mostly all text heads.. besides Direct..

Yeah... we still pretty young for an online forum, to get ahead of ourselves [as a team]
but, perhaps by the time we finish our own tourney, we'll
have enough members to do this ish. I'm down for it, fa' sho'.


There may be an admin position openning up, and it ain't going to go
to an unestablished member here, in HGR.

So, if you more active members are into having more perks as a team member...
keep your eyes out for an announcement of this open position.
I'm not too sure, yet... atm... I'm busy enough that I have trouble
here and there getting to my battles as it is. So, some added activity/adminning
from a new Admin recruit might be in order.

Stay active, and I'll make my decision by the end of the week.

*Note - ANYONE can lose their team position if there's a big lack of activity.
I only want the 'devoted' type of members to give these responsibilities to.
I ain't runnin' no concentration camp type shit... but I plan to be around with
my own forum for a while... I only accept the active ones for my team.
...along with being a 'people' person.

I'm talking about adding another Admin member in terms of helping
out with the forums content and special events... like tourneys and
online actions that'll contribute to this site's integrity in general.

I got Tha Kid and Blood Lust - which of, BL ain't all that active but he
gots good code know-how and can work the admin panel without
me having to explain shit.

I don't have a prob with running the recruit [if there IS one]
through the admin panel's workings... but I need them to be
interested and active in this forum's lifespan, as well as it's
sustainability.

I've done some work here, adding some nice features like tweaking the belts
competitions workings and adding some entertaining forums. But I'm running
out of free hours to devote some solid time into this. I'm always going to be this active,
but some additional help from a recruit would ease some of my time.
I could then concentrate a lil' more on my ish, too...

But, still... yeah - there needs to be some activity in the audio section...
I'll consider adding you, Kris... just be patient.
east ren's in there... I dunno what he's doing about that section yet...
he could possibly use your assistance.

my mics built in too, so i'm in the same boat as kris wit quality, but the admin things cool, ur gonna have tons of dudes tryin to b mad active now lol but yeah if the tourney goes well, we can do the site battle thing

another idea
besides top 25, try and put the site on another top rap forum site, so more ppl can see it, i found this on top 25, but i kno hhe has like two other top rap sites there on to get more members
